Prior Experience
In February 2020, Christian launched RMC Wise Ltd along with the other shareholders. Christian has been instrumental in the set up and growth of the company, which offer Risk Management, AML, and Compliance support services. Prior to this, Christian, started off as a Portfolio Manager, and moved his way up to Head Investments and Operations and ultimately the Managing Director of the same Company, which today is a leading asset manager in Malta. Prior to this, Christian worked as a fixed income portfolio manager with a local bank and as a Merger and Acquisition Analyst with the Malta Competition Authority. To-date, Christian acts as a Risk Manager, Portfolio Manager, Director, and Investment Committee Member for a number of Schemes and Management Companies.
Educational Background
Christian graduated with an Honours Degree in Economics from the University of Malta in 2009. Christian then furthered his studies in 2012 and was awarded an MSc in Economics and finance from the University of York. Later in 2014, Christian passed the CFA Level III and acquired the CFA Charterholder. More recently in 2021, Christian diversified his studies and obtained his International Diploma in Anti Money Laundering with the International Compliance Association. To-date, Christian is reading for his PhD with a specialisation in Finance from the University of York.
