Stephanie Borg Caruana provides risk advisory services as well as Risk Manager engagements to RMCโs clientele both from a quantitative and qualitative risk management perspective. Moreover, Stephanie assists companies in setting up their Risk Management Division and helping in the identification, management, mitigation and reporting of all material risks across all business areas. Stephanie is also involved in the drafting and implementation of all relevant risk-related documentation in order to provide its clientele with a holistic risk management framework.
More specific to the Fund Industry, Stephanie is also involved in conducting Compliance Monitoring on any applicable limits or investment restrictions the Clients may enforce as well as those imposed by the UCITS and AIFM Directive.ย Stephanie also assists its clients with Risk Metric Reporting, Valuation Activities, and Liquidity Stress Testing Reporting in line with ESMA Liquidity Stress Testing Guidelines.

Prior Experience
Prior to joining RMC Wise Limited in June 2020, Stephanie started off her career at one of Maltaโs local banks within the Risk Management Department. She later moved to a leading asset management company which provides investment management services and distribution for UCITS and AIF funds.
Educational Background
Stephanie graduated with an Honours Degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Malta in 2018. After graduating, Stephanie continued her studies and moved to Dublin, obtaining an MSc in Financial Risk Management with Distinction from Trinity College Dublin. In 2021, Stephanie furthered her studies in relation to Risk Management and obtained the credentials of a Certified Cyber Risk Officer from the International Cyber Threat Task Force in collaboration with the International Compliance Association.
